In 2023, TAG Automotive acquired the prestigious STP brand (Sociedad de Transformación de Plasticos, S.A.), specialized in PP compression fittings and valves. The acquisition included its complete production unit, which includes brands, molds, machines, laboratories and know-how.

The STP brand and its wide range of products have been manufactured in our facilities since 2022 and have been distributed internationally for more than 20 years. With its vast experience and high demands on product quality, essential in the automotive sector, TAG reinforces the prestige of the renowned STP brand.

Product range

The Plast range of compression fittings is designed, manufactured and tested under a strict ISO 9001:2000 quality control system to meet the requirements of ISO 14236. This standard incorporates the previous CEN and ISO standards and sets out the testing requirements that guarantee an estimated useful life of 50 years. 

PP (polypropylene) compression fittings for joining PE (polyethylene) pipes. They are designed to withstand pressure up to PN16 and are available in diameters from DN16 to DN110. Available in Blue and Black colors. Being in contact with water, our entire PLAST range complies with international ISO standards, where applicable, and contains no toxic additives, ensuring safety in drinking water systems and other uses.
